GEORGETOWN TASSIE OAK TABLE

Beautiful polished natural Messmate or Tassie Oak Timber Table. An Australian Hardwood native to Tasmania, Victoria and the Tablelands of Queensland and New South Wales, it varies in colour naturally from pale browns to light yellows to subtle hints of peach. It can grow up to 90m in height with a girth of 3 metres in diameter. A species rich and warm in detail, it has an even moderately coarse texture and sometimes interlocking, straight grains feature beautifully defined rings.  

This 2.5 metre table top is sustained by 2 simple matte black metal legs a lovely piece of timber that will be the discussion point at the next dinner party.
